Thanks for sharing this Alexi Murdoch song. The simple melody further enhanced the importance of the message about fear locking the inner self. I see you titled this post "Note to Self" so I'd guess this is a personal one for you. Definitely, this applies to a great majority of us as well.
When we have Fear, we are afraid. Alexi wisely noted "Don't be afraid to cry" . In this case even the act of crying gives us Fear, and he coaxes us to go on and cry. Crying is a a great way to release pent up feelings and help lighten things up. So yes, let us not be afraid to cry.
thanks Sito for that delightful interpretation. you are right, this post is like a constant reminder to myself that it is only fear that at times holds me back and inhibits me in accomplishing what i could have. thus a way to reflect and not fall into the trap of Fear. I am sure a lot of us feel that way at times. Thanks for stopping by!
Namaste sister Bani, this song is new to me, what a treat. Thanks for taking the time to post this very inspiring song.
Fear is one of the most powerful emotions we humans have to deal with, trumped only by the greatest of all human experiences, love. Thanks again sister, have a wonderful day.
In Lak' ech, prosper with love.... live beyond fear....

Thank you Christopher. Yes, always falling between the two ends of Love-Fear antithesis. =)
