Reading between these lines, it appears like you are speculating on the value of material gains. The thread of pain and suffering also exposes itself once again in your thoughts.
Materialism certainly has it's place for those who feel the need to bolster their ego. You appear tired of seeing this frivolous game played out in others lives. Stand firm in what you believe. Peace comes to those who have accepted their position in the world, for all others, their will never be relief from the race of rats.
